Anyways, Paul is also looking to sell them all for 3 million. That's under $1 per record! Steal of a deal. I guess he's already digitalized them for Serato.

Another one of THE GREATEST 12 INCHES OF ALL TIME (you gotta say that like Muhammad Ali), this one is great because the song is a classic plus the 12" came with vocal, acapella and instrumental versions. It was also a Brooklyn super group put together by Spike Lee for his movie Crooklyn with legends Masta Ace, Special Ed, and Buckshot. Not sure why Q-Tip (Queens Tip) got to produced the track because he isn't from Brooklyn, but he was hot as hell as a producer back then (Nas, Tribe) so it works.

Records: Doug E. Fresh & MC Ricky D - "The Show" 12"
This is hands down my favorite 12 inch EVER, which means it is THE GREATEST 12 INCH OF ALL TIME! That is very debatable of course, but I'll debate it until the end of time. There isn't a song in Hip-Hop that I can think of that is sampled more than "La-Di-Da-Di", and "The Show" is an all time club classic. Every time I come across this record I buy it, which means I own 6 or 7 copies. It's too bad these guys never did a whole album together, but that is another reason this record is so classic. This record is the only time they put out music together in the '80's. "6 minutes, 6 minutes, 6 minutes Doug E. Fresh you're on!"

Rap Treats #38: (Really) Early Eminem (1992)
Eminem circa 1992. 16 years ago. Both these joints don't sound that great, and I can't classify them as treats because they aren't that good, but they are kind of cool to hear. This was Eminem in his bedroom studio WAY before he found his Slim Shady persona. In other Eminem news, 2DB's are saying that there is a DJ Premier/Eminem song on Marshall's next album! I'm still holding out hope that he's been busy making his 'Blueprint' album and not anymore of the goofy comedy songs he comes with every album.
Records: Wu-Tang Clan - "Protect Ya Neck" 12"
Another classic 12inch for the archives... times 2. When Wu-Tang came with "Protect Ya Neck" they shitted on the whole rap world. This is (in my opinion) the greatest posse cut ever from one of THE GREATEST 12 INCHES OF ALL TIME. I realize it wasn't looked at as a posse cut, but looking back 15 years later that's exactly what it was. "Scenario" and "The Symphony" also get top spot consideration, but this one wins in my world (or maybe it's a tie).
